Tech Prevails in Final Fall Ball Game

Box Score

Nov. 5, 2006

Using an explosive first half, Georgia Tech finished its fall season with a 9-7 win over cross-town rival Emory University.

With both teams missing players, including one from each side reffing the game, the fall scrimmage was a good tune-up for the Yellow Jackets and the Eagles. All players for Tech gained in-game experience as they put all they learned in the fall preseason to use. The game marked the last game for head coach Will Oakley who is relocating to Washington, D.C. for his regular job.

The last activity for the girls this fall is a clinic with the Roswell Youth Lacrosse Association this coming Saturday.
